KLARAV Sweden

Klara Teoretiska Gymnasium Vallgatan is located in the downtown area of Gothenburg, Sweden. We currently have about 350 students in grades 10-12 specializing in science, social studies, and business studies. The staff of 30 consists of certified teachers, school management, and a student welfare team.

Our students come from in and around the city of Gothenburg, which means that we have a great diversity among our students. This is a fact we are proud of and continuously keep promoting. Furthermore, we pride ourselves in emphasizing the importance of a sustainable development of society in everything we do. We also nurture close ties to the higher educational system and do our best to prepare our students for further studies.

Currently, we are involved in several Erasmus+ projects. Firstly, we are hosting foreign teachers for a job shadowing experience here in our school, and have been sending out our own faculty members since 2021. Secondly, we have been involved in a KA2 school partnership with schools in France, Italy, Poland, and Spain. Currently, we are involved in a similar project with schools in Norway and Germany. We also send student groups on short-term mobilities to Latvia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, and Austria. Moreover, we are partners in several KA2 strategic partnership projects, including Jobshadoweur, PTMA, and REMATT. We also coordinate the KA2 project MANAGEMOB.

The topic of democracy is very close to our heart as a school offering multiple courses in the field of social studies. We have a strong desire to foster and instil democratic values in our students. Through this project, we would be able to convey the importance of democracy to not only our students but to students across Europe.

SFS Iceland

Step by Step is small, but strong innovative training NGO with the main focus on non-formal training & development on international level. The company has been at the forefront of introducing new, interesting & innovative teaching & training methods in the field of school, VET education & entrepreneurship. We have long experience in structuring & conducting different research in the labour market as well as working closely with diverse company in many fields, creating, composing & running big training sessions for our partners.

Through our work & projects, we have created different strategies & we have published online books both in the field of school, VET training & entrepreneurship. We have worked closely with the labour market & we have established extensive network in the school, VET & adult learning sectors.

We have a strong network, extensive experience & for the past decade we have been working with VET trainees in SMEs as well-developed quality training modules for many large companies in Iceland. We have been promoting school, VET & adult education for years & our experience in working with diverse groups on a non-formal & informal level is profound & wide.

Our organisation participates in the research, development & training network. We have taken on different tasks that allow us to review & improve our educational methods & projects for VET trainees so that they can better ensure their working situations in the future. Our main strength is in our different project experience & our knowledge in approaching VET trainees in the field of training, equality & entrepreneurship.

Through our experience we are powerful in finding the right platform in partners discussion, solving all kinds of obstacles, based on respect & understanding, finding a common goal & getting the work done in good way. This experience & work have made us strong, resourceful & resilient partners.

The company has worked in several international projects as well as some big Icelandic project with the focus on strengthen people ability to deal with changes & to become stronger as a person in ever changing environment. Some of our projects have had a special focus on minorities groups like drug abusers, handicapped, seniors & migrants. The aim is always to find a better ways to facilitate social inclusion.

Our objective is to be able to continue to provide international, professional & sought-after services in the field of VET education & training. With our work & experience we want to improve quality & sustainability & thus contribute to better & more lucrative jobs among our customers. To this effect, the company needs to constantly seek new ways to improve the knowledge, skills, competence & confidence of its employees. We seek to build international & a global network, to be able to increase access to knowledge, culture & international cooperation.

RISEBA Latvia 

Vocational secondary school VICTORIA is the gateway for students’ first victories, both professional and personal, via being a provider of competitive and demanded on the labour market professions and via creating innovative and positive learning environment. VICTORIA is a leader among vocational secondary schools in Latvia, offering students professions which are highly competitive and demanded on the labour market. For several years -2011,2012,2013,2014,2015,2017 - VICTORIA was recognised as the best school of the year among vocational schools in Latvia by the fund Draudzīga Aicinājuma, based on centralized national examinations’ results of our students. VICTORIA’s VISION is to become, both on national & EU levels a vocational educational institution that trains competitive,highly skilled,motivated and labour market compliant experts,applying the latest technology in their professional activities.

 

VICTORIA was founded in 2006 as a branch establishment of the first private higher education institutions in Latvia – RISEBA University of Applied sciences. Today RISEBA is among 10 largest higher education institutions in Latvia (both public and private). The first VICTORIA students were enrolled in 2008/2009 academic year within two study programs. For the last year the number of our students has almost doubled. In 2013/2014 academic year 114 students were enrolled, whereas this year the number of students is 386. As yet, VICTORIA offers 7 four-year vocational study programmes: Logistics, Hospitality services, Commercial sciences,Interior Design,Audiovisual Art & Technologies,Communication design,Programming.

 

The school is proud of the success of its graduates - there is very good feedback from employers. Graduates get enrolled in prestigious universities in Latvia and the world. The school purposefully and systematically identifies the future training/studies and professional activities of its graduates and use this information to evaluate its work. In 2023, 80 students graduated from school. 31 of these continue their studies in universities, both in Latvia (RISEBA, LU, BA, RSU, RTU, TSI, Turiba, Hotel Business College, Business Management College,) and abroad (Warsaw film School, Nord University, GITIS, University of Westminster) and 8 graduates plan to get enrolled in universities after a year. 32 school graduates work in the industry, while 6 work in non-occupational work. 1 graduate combines professional work with studies and 2 opened their own business.

GAZI Turkey

Gazi University, tracing its roots to the 1920s, was established as the "Teacher Training Institute" in 1926 by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Renamed "Gazi Teacher Training Institute" in 1929, it became the "Gazi Institute of Education" by 1949‐1950. In 1982, with act number 2809 the institution got the name “Gazi University”.

Today, Gazi University carries out its educational and research activities with its 12 faculties, 3 Vocational High Schools, 31 research centers, and 5 institutes. The university has faculties of Education, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Science, Technology, Applied Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, and Sport Sciences.

Gazi University carries out its education on various campuses. With 43496 students and 3858 academic staff the university is close to the world average in terms of the number of students per instructor. University also has 2649 administrative staff. In addition to the students from all around the country, Gazi University has 1390 international students.

Gazi University is one of the 10 universities that received the title of "Research University" in 2017 within the scope of the «Mission Differentiation and Specialization in Higher Education Project - Research-Oriented Mission Differentiation Program» among 200 universities. By the year 2021, there have been 20 state universities in the project and Gazi University still holds its place by getting more successful each year.

Gazi university has determined priority research areas for the effective and efficient management of research processes and 20 Priority Research Areas (among them: [Software Technologies Including Digital content and applications in Education], Data Science and Cloud Computing, Cyber ​​Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning [Robotics and Mechatronics System], Distance Education Applications [Assessment and Evaluation and Techniques]) have been decided by our Senate.

According to the 2022 field-based world university ranking results of the "QS World University Rankings” Gazi University ranked 21st among 372 universities worldwide in the field of education. Gazi University came the 1st in the field of education in Türkiye universities.

 

Gazi University carries out a total of 737 ongoing internal and external research projects (556 Scientific Research Projects (BAP) with a budget of 80.5 million TL; Total budget of ongoing externally supported projects is 300 million TL).

DIGITALSET Ireland 

Digitalset is a social enterprise established in 2023 a based in Dublin that offers lifelong learning training services, specialising in digital, online environment, project management, personal development & leadership.

There are 9 expert collaborators currently active in our organisation consisting of former Head Teachers, teachers, pedagogists, language teachers, IT specialists & an administrative manager. Our collaborators have worked with a wide range of target groups across school, VET, youth, sport & higher education sectors.

Our enterprise was created to allow our collaborators to come together & share their knowledge & experience with less experienced individuals & organisations.

The founder Christophe WELLS is now semi-retired & an experienced educator in schools, training centres, universities & in adult education. He has significant experience of European Programmes & of Erasmus + in particular. He is currently an expert evaluator for 4 national agencies, an Erasmus+ ambassador & an ambassador for the EPALE platform.

 Ludmilla FAVEL is a DIGITALSET Director, an Erasmus+ Ambassador for the French National Agency & also an expert evaluator for the Belgian Erasmus + National Agency. She currently runs training sessions with learners to develop practical application of digitalisation in relation to entrepreneurship in VET centres in Sevilla in her work with the FenetreS Association in Lyon

Jean-Luc Moreau is semi-retired & works with DIGITALSET on a part-time, voluntary basis. He has extensive experience in Erasmus+ project evaluation through work with 3 National Agencies as an Expert-Evaluator. He will take responsibility for the Quality Monitoring Analysis & Evaluation strategy.

Paul Reynolds is a retired Head Teacher but is still active on the board of governors of several schools. He also currently contributes as a volunteer Expert External Evaluator in 4 Erasmus+ Cooperation partnerships.

The DIGITALSET staff have all been involved in teacher & educator training in Ireland, UK & France. For example, Christophe currently offers in-service digital sessions for educational organisations such as schools & VET centres. Christophe currently leads in-service digital sessions for Teacher Training institutions such as Exeter University & leads training courses for both educators & directors of associations & community-based initiatives.
